Jai Guru Datta! Jai Guru Hanuman,
In July of 2010, His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji instructed Dr. Vishnu Kalidindi, Dr. Srinivas Chebrolu and Dr. Murali Alloju to conduct a free Health camp at the Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple. Per the instructions of His Holiness on August 27, 2011, the first health camp was conducted at the Hanuman temple in conjunction with Centennial Medical Center of Frisco, a local hospital. The camp was completely free and open to everyone. With Sri Swamiji’s blessing and guidance, the camp received an enormous response from the community with over 300+ individuals signed up to take part in the free medical services provided. Fifteen different medical professionals donated their time and services to help give back to the local community.

The Sai Center health camp team needs special recognition for sharing their experience and generous advice during the planning of and all throughout the event itself. A very special Jai Guru Datta to our KSHT youth group and volunteers who spent numerous hours setting up, training, supporting and participating in this event. They stayed at their posts for the whole event despite the 100+ degree weather and helped welcome and guide the hundreds of people throughout the fair. It was heartwarming to see people, who were bringing their elderly relatives for a checkup decide to join the volunteer ranks and help out. A couple of them stayed until the end of the event so that they could continue their seva though their relative's checkup was complete. The sense of community and awareness of how special an opportunity this medical fair provided for who with few healthcare options was very apparent. We've learned a lot through this fair and look forward to implementing those lessons learned and offer a larger scaled event with a bigger turnout and support from more local doctors at the next health camp. Pranams to Sri Swamiji for helping us in every step of this health fair.
Sri Guru Datta! Jai Guru Hanuman!
