Sponsors are welcome to come to help cook or serve the Prasad but it is not required. If you want to come and help cook then please arrive at the Temple by 10am for weekly Annadaan on Saturdays..

10. Do you offer religious classes for kids, What is Bala Datta?
Bala Datta is a program of religious instruction for children and youth offered at the Temple on Sunday mornings during the academic school year. In Bala Datta classes, children learn religious practices, prayers, bhajans, significance of festivals, and spiritual values. To join, the minimum age is 4 years old for the religious classes and 5 years old for the language classes. Acceptance into the class is based on availability.

14. I want to enroll my child in Bala Datta, how do I do this?
Please pre-register yourself for the next session of Bala Datta.� Go to DallasHanuman.org, choose the Classes link then Bala Datta link and follow directions to pre-register. Please note: This pre-registration is not a guarantee of acceptance.�
Once enrollment is completed for existing students, we will open it up to you and send you an email notification. Please be sure to add DallasHanuman.org to your safe email list so that you don�t miss the notification emails.� If you do not respond or confirm your spot(s) in the allotted time, they will be offered to the next wait-listed person(s). Thank you for considering the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple for your donations. Your donations will help the Temple continue the many religious, spiritual, cultural and community based activities.

16. What is the Dollar-A-Day or Hanuman Setu Bandha (HSB) seva program? What?are the benefits?of that program?
The HSB seva program is the back bone of the Hanuman Temple. With small donations from many devotees, the Hanuman Temple is able to offset maintenance and daily operations costs and offer many religious celebrations, spiritual discourses and service oriented events (such as Health seminars, Free Health camps, blood drives) to the Temple community.
Devotees who participate in the Dollar-A-Day will receive regular emails directly from His Holiness Sri Swamiji and have archana performed on his/her name on the main Hanuman Jayanti celebration day at the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple.
17. How do I request my donation tax statement? I have an item missing on my tax statement, how do I request a corrected one?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your correct physical address and contact information. �For any missing transactions, be sure to include any pertinent details such as donated item or puja/event name, amount donated, transaction id and/or check number.
Upon verification, we will email the latest tax statement to you. Please note: Bala Datta class dues are not tax deductible.

21. I have a school with students or know of a visiting artist and would like to conduct a cultural program at the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple hall, how do I proceed?
The Hanuman Temple is an ardent supporter of Hindu culture and the arts.� Many professional and budding artists have performed before Nada Anjaneya in the Hanuman Cultural Center. Here are the steps you need to take before making your request:
Be sure to include any additional information on the artist to help the Cultural team in their final decision.
22. Are there any time slots for the local teachers and students to perform at the Temple?
Programs by local school are held at Temple teachers on a monthly basis in the afternoons.� Dance programs are held every FIRST Sunday and music programs on every THIRD Sundays. �Please note that the Temple puja altar and cultural hall are in a shared space so students are blessed to perform before Lord Hanuman.� While Sunday afternoons are relatively quiet, Devotees may be coming for darshan of Lord Hanuman while there is a performance in progress.� On any major festivals or due to visiting artists' performances, the regularly scheduled programs may be moved to the following Sunday.
While there is no mandatory fee involved, a nominal donation or enrollment in the Dollar-A-Day program is suggested and highly appreciated.
