Violin Classes at Hanuman Temple

Saturday Classes: Jan 21,28, Feb 4,11,18,25, Mar 18,25, Apr 1,8,15,22,29, May 6,13,20

With the guidance and blessings of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, Violin & Viola  classes are now being offered at Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple. Classes will be taught by Sri Narasimha Kikkeri.  It will be violin & viola playing gayaki style and focus on sound bowing techniques


Classes will be held on Saturdays in Classroom 4&5 of "Jaya Lakshmi Mata Hall" at Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, 12030 Independence Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75035. Please see below for the schedule.

Group1: Beginners with no carnatic music background or no prior instrument experience (Recommended minimum age 6 and above)
Group1 ClassTime: 9:30am to 10:15am

Group2 Intermediate Kids level: New enrollments is subject to slot availability and final review with the teacher
Age Group: Middle and High School Kids or kids with previous experience
Group2 Class Time: 8:45am to 9:30am

Group1 Adult Violin Class: 8AM to 8:45AM
New enrollments acceptance is subject to slot availability and final review with the teacher

Narasimha Kikkeri -A long time devotee of Pujya Sri ganapathi sachidananda Swamiji performed regularly at Mysore ashram with blessings of Pujya Appaji. Narasimha Kikkeri inspired and encouraged by his parents Smt: Sathyavathi and Sri K.N. Rajarao began his violin training in  carnatic music at an early age from S murthy and later pursued training from Mysore S Mahadevappa.  Over the years Narasimha has been a frequent performer on All India Radio & TV stations and several academy concerts and  represented India at the festival of India during international music festivals. He has accompanied leading Indian artists T.N.  Sheshagopalan, Dr T. Viswanathan, Dr Chitti Babu, N Ravikiran, Trichur V Ramachandran, R.K. Srikantan to name  a few. He has accompanied with Hindustani singer Rashid Khan during US tour along with CD releases. Kikkeri is well adapt  playing with Western and JAZZ players and performed across USA and several universities. He has performed solo concerts  frequently at several leading universities including Bloomington Indiana, Berkeley Boston, Cornel ,Oxford Miami, Cincinnati  conservatory, UNT to name a few. In addition he has played several fusion concerts with leading Jazz & drum players. He currently lives in Dallas with his family and a devotee of Karya Siddhi Hanuman temple.
