Jai Guru Hanuman! Dear Karya Siddhi Hanuman-ji,
For Shivaratri, the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple's devotees were able to perform abhiseka directly to the Shivalinga only on this special day. The main hall resonated with the chantings of Rudram well into the early hours of the next day. Following the last Rudram, special alankara, archana and mangala aarti were offered to Lord Shiva. As part of the celebrations, Shiva Parvati Kalyana was performed on March 5th. To view pictures, visit the Temple's Facebook page. In This Month... Following Shivaratri, in March, the Hanuman Temple will be celebrating HOLI! Coming in time for the spring harvest, Holi celebrates a good harvest and fertility of the land. Youth Update!
Community Service Event
The KSHT Youth group just volunteered at the Frisco Resale Store which benefits the Frisco Family Services (FFS) on the afternoon of February 12th. FFS helps many families across Frisco with the funds raised from the store's sales. The store depends on volunteers to help with the operations.
Our KSHT Youth stepped up to help them out ! They helped organize the store, take in new inventory, and even assisted with some shoppers. It was a great experience and felt good to make a positive difference in our local community.
Check out Facebook or your email inbox regarding our next Youth group activity!

Sri Swamiji Says Share the Divine Knowlegde

Let there be Peace in all the worlds, for all the living beings, all the planets. Let them all taste immortality. Let us pray to Lord Shiva to maintain the state of peace for ever!
Pray for forgiveness for all the sins committed, knowingly and unknowingly. Let the mind constantly concentrate on our Mantra, that which your heart dictates.
Om Namah Shivaaya! Leave all doubts, all ficklemindedness, don't get discouraged. You all small puppets in the hand of Lord Shiva, who holds all the strings. He Knows! Leave it to Him, even the pains. Pains are calling you to think on God. Keep on praying, chant the name of the Lord! He is our sculptor, He makes you new! He will make you beautiful. He wants us to become Angels, Divine Beings. Spiritual desire is good, it is the search for God. Don' t demand anything, always think "God is my treasure." Om Namah Shivaaya! Jaya Guru Datta! -- His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji 2011 Shivaratri Message
