    KSHT Yuva Datta ( Youth Group ) was created by Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji. It embodies several aspects which enables a youth to build a strong foundation in spirituality and help the youth navigate his/ her journey through life.

    The following are included

  • Interactive discussions ( topics/qualities derived from Hinduism based on various sacred scriptures ) and how to implement these aspects on a daily basis
  • Interactive fun learning projects reinforcing concepts and also includes projects which enhance skills such as team work and leadership
  • Volunteering in the Hanuman Temple
  • Volunteering in the Community
  • Fun activities for Youth to enjoy

Youth Group Rules

  • Remember that you are an ambassador of the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple and are representing Sri Ganapathi Sachdchidananda Swamiji's teachings.
  • Embrace All With a Positive Attitude. Respect other members through your actions and words.
  • Teasing, Gossiping, bullying verbally or electronically are not acceptable. Be Kind.
  • When a teacher or another member is speaking, do not engage in side conversations
  • Respect the Facilities. ( No screaming, no running, no rough play, and Clean Up after class )
  • Every meeting and event has physical boundaries. Stay within those boundaries.

Dress Guidelines

It is important that our dress is appropriate. It is our intention to respect the holy surroundings we are in. The following will not be permitted. Should you dress in an inappropriate manner you will be asked to put on different clothes or your parents will be called to bring you alternate clothing.

  • Bare midriffs, spaghetti straps, tank tops, see through clothing, tube tops, halter tops
  • Visible undergarments. Pants should be worn at waist level.
  • Short Dresses, short skirts, shorts
  • No clothing with offensive or obscene language or picture

Verbal and Electronic Communication Rules

  • We utilize various forms of supervised technology/applications to communicate. Official Electronic communication is via an email group, Facebook (kshtyouthgroup), Instagram and Telegram group
  • There will be NO Bullying, Emotional Manipulation, Unkind Words, Obscene Language in any kind of communication within the youth group
  • No other group in any electronic media can be created by any of the members or parents representing KSHT Youth group without the permission of the KSHT Youth team.
  • Yuva Datta will not be responsible for any communication outside of these supervised electronic communication groups


Consequences for violating any of these rules will be certain and encompass the following

  • Violation of any of these rules or any Acts of Unkindness will NOT be Tolerated
  • An email will sent out to the parents of all parties involved to come in person to resolve any issues
  • The children will be asked to present their point of view in front of Sri Swamiji’s photo
  • If that does not lead to a successful conflict resolution parents will be asked for their input
  • Children will be asked to do a presentation on the pros and cons of a related Virtue/Vice
  • Yuva Datta reserves the right to keep away anyone for misbehaving in class or for continued violations
